Organizational Background

Nissi Christian Academy was founded in 2015 with the goal of offering the children of Siargao the opportunity to achieve excellence in a supportive, nurturing environment.

With an emphasis on Christian principles, Nissi Academy strives to uphold and promote the values of honesty, trust and openness, support and encouragement, unselfish service and a sense of community, discipline, responsibility and respect for self and others.

Progress To Date

Since opening our doors in 2015, we have seen exponential growth from 20 preschool students to 250 students across preschool to Grade 8. 

The school offers :

• Class sizes are capped at 20-25 students.
• Well maintained classrooms with air-conditioning.
• Learning is supported through the use of ICT in classes.
• School runs every weekday, except for approved national and local holidays
• High teaching standards monitored through quality assessments.
• Teachers are supported in professional development and are committed to reviewing and constantly improving their teaching methods to provide engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students.
